YOU HAVE ARRIVED, to exactly where you need to be… That is what I have come to learn in the past few years. I began my journey with coffee in the winter of 2017, on the hill top of the Geisha village in Ethiopia, where I immersed myself in a coffee farming expedition to grasp the essence of coffee plants. My curiosity only kept growing from there, and I found myself allowing the spirit of coffee to move and speak through me. I’ve travelled the world to experience coffee drinking in different cultures, and on my adventures, I’ve come to find that there is no place or culture that deeply practices coffee ceremonies or rituals, apart from the Ethiopian coffee ceremony and the Sufi coffee imbibing ritual that unites them to God through whirling into the night.

I am born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, and I lived in the Gulf for 4 years while in pursuit of a glorious corporate career. When I realized my life was being decided for me, coffee showed up and I listened. Life led me to Portland, Oregon, where I live now with the vision and purpose of advocating coffee as our plant ally and mindful ritual, through modern day coffee ceremonies, and products that invoke ritual & plant connection.

Coffee is my passion and spirit is my guide, as you will realize while navigating this virtual platform.

I hope for you to learn about this plant here, and feel inspired by my story and the experience I have to offer. Mostly, I hope for you to realize the essence of coffee, and how it truly is a sacred plant that activates the mind, encourages connection & spiritually heals; if we can heal our capitalist relationship to it first.

For now, stay open, magic is everywhere. Including in your cup!
